Requirements for Success

Eligibility Criteria

Location & Registration: Must be African entrepreneurs with registered businesses or a plan to register your business first in any African country.
Business Stage: Open to brand new startups and SMEs operational for at least 3 months; pre-revenue businesses with solid plans are eligible.
Industry Focus: Prioritizes high-impact sectors like tech, agriculture, health, education, renewable energy, and creative industries.
Business Plan: Must provide a clear business plan detailing objectives, market analysis, and fund usage.
Innovation & Impact: Business should solve a unique problem or provide show social, environmental, or economic impact.
Grant Utilization Plan: Clear breakdown of how funds will be used for growth or sustainability.
Commitment to Mentorship: Winners must participate in mentorship and business assessments.
Track Record: Evidence of milestones, plus a reference letter from a mentor or leader..
Ethical Standards: Businesses must operate legally and ethically.

Additional: Shortlisted applicants may pitch their ideas, and winners must provide follow-up impact reports.

SELECTION PROCESS

1. Download the business resources from the page, fill it in and revise it

2. Submit it when applying for the grant with receipt

3. Get your business feasibility assessed

4. When selected, we’ll pair you up with a moderator online for a few tailored sessions to offer guidance on scaling, finances, and strategies.

5. When you win, your funds will be disbursed through Stripe, Lemfi Paypal or direct bank transfer (if local)
